In the heart of the Austrian National Park “Hohe Tauern” there are a variety of hikes and mountain tours that offer everyone from beginners to professional alpinists the right thing for their hiking vacation. A special highlight is the 140 m long suspension bridge at the Stubnerkogel mountain station at 2,300 m.

Golfing in Bad Gastein
… on the wonderful, challenging 18-hole course of the Golfclub Gastein. The picturesque complex presents itself between old trees, small streams, in front of the breathtaking backdrop of the Gastein mountain giants. The golf school offers you the possibility to make your first swings or to refine your technique. In the proshop you will find the right equipment.
Gastein is also an ideal starting point for golf excursions during your golf vacation – you can reach 11 golf courses within a radius of 50 km.

The fishing grounds of Gastein are considered an insider tip for fishing enthusiasts - a fishing paradise in one of the purest waters in Austria. Among others, brown trout and char are caught. Salmon trout weighing up to 4 kg have also been caught from the Gastein Ache. Good luck!
ARCHERY
Archery
The Gastein Valley offers three hunting archery courses. For beginners there is a routine training. Professionals in archery will be challenged at individual stations. The respective launch positions are marked in color according to the level of difficulty. Equipment can be rented at all three locations.
