Corona hygiene measures and guide of the hotel for your stay

Dear guests!

To make your stay with us as pleasant as possible, we have compiled the following guide and information for you. We will try to make your stay as safe as possible, with as few restrictions, as necessary.

The existing 3-step plan already partly provides the legal framework:

  1. Stage: Currently
  2. Stage: From 7 days after intensive care bed occupancy exceeds 15% (300 beds)
  3. Stage: From 7 days after occupancy exceeds 20% (400 beds)

Gastronomy and accommodation

  • Stage 1: since 15 September, the 3-G rule applies: guests must show a valid negative test result, proof of vaccination or proof of recovery. Note the shortening of the validity period of antigen tests from 48 to 24 hours.
  • From stage 2 onwards, antigen tests with self-collection ("living room tests") are no longer permitted as proof of entry.
  • Should stage 3 come into force, rapid antigen tests (such as test lanes or pharmacies) will also no longer be valid as proof of entry. Therefore, a valid negative PCR test result, proof of vaccination or proof of recovery will now be valid as proof of entry.
  • Measures going beyond level 3 – in particular restrictions for the unvaccinated – will be in line with the general measures.

The mouth-nose mask obligation does not apply if a 3-G proof (Getestet (tested) - Geimpft (Vaccinated) - Genesen (recovered) is possible.

FFP-2 Masks are still compulsory in

  • Public transport and stations
  • Taxis
  • Cable cars and cogwheel trains
  • Places of daily use (supermarket, petrol station, pharmacy, drugstore, bank, …)
  • FFP-2 Masks are compulsory in all shops for people without vaccination.

3 G proof means:

Vaccinated individuals (with a centrally licensed vaccine):

  • 1 vaccination from the 22nd day after the vaccination
  • 2 vaccinations

Recovered persons (Duration: 3 months):

  • Medical confirmation of an infection survived in the last 180 days incl. molecular biological confirmation
  • Certificate of isolation in case of proven infection - valid for 180 days
  • Proof of neutralising antibodies - 90 days validity
  • Tested persons.

Tested persons
can only NOT carry MNS if there is negative evidence.

  • Self-test with digital capture - 24 hours
  • Antigen testing by an authorised body - 24 hours from sample collection.
  • 72 hours PCR test

Obligatory testing
Compulsory testing applies to persons aged 12 and over.

  • All employees are extensively trained. Please follow the instructions of the staff. They just want your best.
  • Although close contact is usually very important to us, we ask you to refrain from shaking hands and hugging.
  • The receptionists protect you and themselves with an acrylic glass-protection.
  • A hand-sanitizer is available at the reception
  • Please keep a distance from other people, except for people from the common household or fellow passengers and clean your hands several times a day with water and soap for at least 30 seconds.
  • In Austria masks are still compulsory in public transport and stations, taxis, cable cars and cogwheel trains, places of daily use (supermarket, petrol station, pharmacy, drugstore, bank, …), for people without vaccination also in all other shops.
  • Our recommendation: Always have a mask with you so that you can put it on if necessary in case of bottlenecks, waiting times or a situation in which your desired safety distance cannot be maintained at neuralgic points.
  • Masks and hand-sanitizer in small bottles for to go or your room, can be purchased at the reception.
  • We have been thinking about strategic points throughout the hotel to install disinfectant dispenser.
  • Surfaces (such as door handles, light switches, lift stock buttons etc.) are cleaned with special cleaning agents.
  • If it happens that a guest recognizes symptoms, he should go directly to his room and inform the reception. They will initiate the necessary steps to clarify a possible infection. They will also overhand an information brochure about next process.

Entry regulations in Austria

Austria now follows the RKI list of the Robert Koch Institute. For more than 110 countries, the 3-G rule (vaccinated - recovered - tested) applies - there is no quarantine obligation when entering from these countries.

  • Guests must present a valid negative test result (PCR test not older than 72 hours, antigen or rapid test under supervision not older than 24 hours), a vaccination certificate or a confirmation of a survived COVID-19 disease upon arrival.
  • Services at the hotel may only be used with a valid test result, vaccination certificate or proof of survived Covid-19 infection.
