Archery
The unique ARCHERY COURSE in Gastein starts with a short introductory training session directly at the Waldgasthof Angertal in Bad Hofgastein and takes you on the hunt for lifelike animal replicas across open terrain and along an idyllic forest trail. The goal is to "take down" as many animals as you can with the bow and arrow, scoring points with every target you hit.
Bows and arrows can be hired so that all hunters large and small are properly equipped. For the course you will need about 1,5 hours.
The hunting season officially starts at Whitsun and finishes in the middle of October. The closed season for hunting the "animals" is every Tuesday.
Archery courses are also available right next to the Bellevue Alm lift valley station in Bad Gastein.
